I went to Sanjay’s concert today at Anjaneya Temple, Alamelumangapuram. Sanjay was accompanied by Varadarajan on the violin and Arun Prakash on the Mridangam. Look at the combination. Do I need to even say how the concert was! Here’s the list of songs:

i guess the maa jaanaki you are mentioning here is in kambodhi. so far, the only maa janaki i have heard/learnt is in kambodhi. was wondering why you have not published the name of the raaga. ofcourse its your blog and your wish. đŸ™‚ just a suggestion. correct me if i am wrong!

It is indeed in Kambhoji. I realised that I had missed out writing the raaga only after publishing the post. I wanted to include it but somehow forgot!
