During the last couple of years, I have made a lot of good friends. Though I made the many friends at work, today, not many are still my colleagues and even among those who are still there, many have become so busy that they don’t even have time for mails. 🙁 Same is the case with many of my other friends as well. 🙁 With so many friends becoming busier by the day, there are days when I feel so bored. 🙁 This is the reason why I enjoyed school and college more. Atleast you knew that you will be with your friends till the end of college or the end of the academic year and none of us were ever this busy….
With a couple of my friends leaving on a long leave last week, I thought I will be bored like anything today. But thankfully, today wasn’t that bad a day after all. There are only a few friends to whom you can pour your heart out and talk about your little triumphs, fears and anything and everything under the sun. I am glad that I did that after quite sometime now with a friend today. And conversations like those always reassure you that you are not alone in this and there are many others feeling the same way. Thank you, my friend. 🙂
And thanks to a wise decision that I took last week, today has been a great day so far. 🙂

Such friends are really very, very rare and one should hold on to such friends, no matter what!

A nice post, Aparna. Yes, it is to a few friends that we look up to at certain times. Share what we feel, our thoughts et al. In today’s busy times, very few have the time for all that. No time to even stand and stare, as they say, let alone time for friends.
