Wonderful or Cruel?

You are sitting in your cubicle and are not aware of what’s happening outside. When you step out for lunch, you see that the sky is covered with clouds. Enjoying the cool breeze blowing, you walk to the food court slowly, have your lunch and then, come outside only to realize that the weather has become even more pleasant! It slowly starts drizzling too and a few drops of rain fall on you! And you say Life is wonderful not only there, but here too! πŸ™‚
Just when you are happily enjoying the wonderful life, you are forced to attend a session inside a closed air-conditioned room filled with the smell of cigarette smoke! πŸ™ How you wish the smokers had visited the smoking zone after the session! πŸ™ Now, you wonder whether life is cruel or wonderful!

Yes,Indeed! The overcast afternoon followed by the drizzle was very pleasant and soothing.Leave alone the smokers, even being in an air conditioned room cannot give you the pleasure of being out in the open on such occasions. And the rains actually started on Tuesday night itself.I was returning after a nice Kutcheri by the veterans Shri Manakkal Rangarajan and Shri MS Anantharaman (Violin) at around 9 : 30 PM and it started to drizzle.Coupled with the cool breeze, it was truly a great feeling!

I was thinking about the same thing upon returning to my cubicle from the food court yesterday. Looks like Chennai-vaasis are in for a repeat of that experience today …….. I mean the overcast clouds, not the cigarette smell πŸ˜‰

Yep! Life is wonderful not only in Blore & Chennai, but in Hyd too. πŸ™‚ Its been raining like almost all evenings here. You know, somehow, the smell of wet soil enters even a closed-air-conditioned room. Its so good if you watch the rainfall from high-rise buildings. I’m enjoying it.

I’m even thinking of installing a widget to get the outside weather – u’ll get reminded of an upcoming rainfall πŸ™‚

    > you are forced to attend a session inside

Why can’t u bunk? Things you learn from college are never to be forgotten. πŸ™‚

Life was indeed wonderful yesterday. Imagine sitting on the terrace at night. And gazing out into the dark feeling the cool breeze and wondering whether you are just flying out in the open sky. Today also seems pleasant. It’s best at night though.

    Chiroti,
Continuing our ‘philosophical’ discussion here too, what’s life if it remains wonderful always? πŸ˜›
Good sense of humour? Thank you!

    Ranjhith,
    Enjoy the rains!

What if I tell you they check whether you are attending the session or not? πŸ™

    Durga,
So are you just flying out into the open sky today too? πŸ˜›

    Sreekrishnan,
Life seems to be cruel indeed!

    Sathej,

I was there in IIT Madras that evening taking a long walk down Delhi avenue remembering my college days. The weather was fantastic. The sight of three blackbucks made my day !!!!!

    Ram,
You saw three blackbucks? Inspite of having gone there many times, I am yet to see even a single blackbuck there till now. πŸ™

Just came across your blog and liked so much that bookmarked it. So you get another viewr joining your pool.

Not cruel at all….even if you get a smoky session…at least you experienced some moments of chilling breeze…..but here in delhi…its too hot…no traces of cloud, water or breeze anywhere…..imagine…this is just the start of summer…

Life is wonderful.. because, you had opportunity to go out and notice beautiful weather and its your decision to go back to AC room..

It would have been cruel — a) if you had time to come outside and didnt had sense to enjoy Or b) if haven’t time/opportunity to come outside.

    don’t you think?
