Watched Vellithirai and Jilla (I still cannot believe that I watched this Telugu movie dubbed into Tamil fully!) back to back on Kalaignar TV last week and liked both the movies. Both made a good time pass. What a versatile actor Prakash Raj is!
I hate this crazy weather. One moment the sun is shining brightly and the very next moment the weather becomes so dull and gloomy.
I am down with cold. The only best thing that can happen when you are having cold is Vicks. Yes. I love the smell of Vicks.
I travelled by MRTS train for the first time only last week! It takes less than 20 min to reach Mandaveli from Velachery. No traffic jam, no blaring horns and no waiting in signals 😉 It’s very convenient and time-saving.
I love hearing the rhythmic sound of the train when it’s moving fast. I missed that when travelling by MRTS. There is a station every other minute!
There are moments when you feel like telling someone that you are highly irritated because of some things they did/didn’t do, but you cannot actually tell them that. It only increases your irritation even more!
After so many rumours about cast, crew and even the film title, the shooting of Mani Ratnam’s next film has finally started. Yay! 🙂 But it has been stopped by the Kerala Forest Dept. soon after it has started. 🙁 Hope the movie releases soon!
Ilaiyaraja’s kaNNale kaadhal kaDidham is the song that I have been hooked to for quite a few weeks now. Google search tells me this song is from some movie called ‘Atma’. I have never heard of that movie…
Driving in the Mada streets of Mylapore is so irritating. The place is always crowded and it was even more crowded on the day of Vijayadasami with everyone out there wanting to get the golu bommais at a cheaper price. Though the golu bommai sellers would have made their profit, still do they have any option other than selling the dolls at a lower price when they are left with many dolls unsold?
Everyone is raving about Rmkv’s new Varnajalam sarees. But I don’t like any of those. The orange-green combo saree is the only one that I find to be ok.
I am eagerly waiting for the audio release of Yuvraaj. 🙂
If someone wants to know how to waste time without doing anything worthwhile, ask me.

I read that Maniratnam is not back to Sri Lanka for shooting. Kerala forest dept had put some case against the crew for cutting trees (seems many) in kerala.
* I like vellithirai for its dialogues and the first half was very good. Coming to jilla ..it was “Bhagiratha” in telugu which was a utter flop movie…i wonder that you liked it…
* Regarding the news of “RAAVAN” , it really felt me down as i am expecting the movie to hit theaters soon.
* Last but not least , eagerly waiting for YUVRAAJ audio as it was supposed to be relased on Oct 1st as said in rahman site.

I have this one doubt.. doesn’t mani ratnam shoot all his movies only in India!!!?? Watchin Jilla is the h8 of boredom!!! I understand coz I did the same thing 🙂 after al it wasn’t as bad as vijay movies 😛 [no offence for al Vijay fans]

Well Mani Ratnam shot some parts of Guru in Turkey. Before that, all his movies were shot only in India. The few scenes of Kannatthil Muthamittal that were shot in Sri Lanka didn’t have the actors in it. Just some places there were shown. At least, that’s what I remember someone telling me.
Glad to know that I was not the only one who watched the movie 🙂 I too felt that it was far better than Vijay’s movies
