Isn’t Jaya TV’s new music channel, Jaya Max, good? Finally a channel where there are no irritating VJs and endless telephone conversations between the callers and the VJs. Besides songs from latest ones to late 70s ones are shown. But that was how SCV channel was earlier, before it became Sun Music. Hope atleast Jaya Max remains this way!

Oh! Did not know about that. thnx for the info. Got to tune and set the channel. And as for the VJ’s (especially Sun Music), they are irritating to the core. I can’t stand the voice of that girl Hema Sinha, though I got to say she kind of looks nice! So most of the time I end up muting the volume while watching her! And as far as originality and presentation are concerned Vijay TV is the best. Sun TV and Kalaignar TV are pathetic in their attempt to copy these programs. The first thing that hits me hard are the garish sets in these channels. Even if the program is good I cant stand such irritating sets.
And I think that guy Prajan was the only guy who had a decent way of presenting shows in Sun Music. Looks like he has bid adieu and settled for meatier roles in serials. Guess you would have seen him in Vijay’s TV’s “Kathalike Neramilai”
do you think they can run a tv channel like that ? i am not sure if they show ads inbetween but they’ll soon switch to the format of audience participation in some form or the other … even tv channels gotto be TV 2.0 like web 2.0

Oh I can’t stand all the VJs including Hema Sinha and Prajan.
Agreed Vijay TV has some orignality but even those shows are generally original only for Tamil channels since those shows are already there on Star Plus.
