Headache Guaranteed!

A few days back, when the Govt. bus in which I was travelling stopped at Pondicherry, all of a sudden the strong smell of whiskey/brandy or whatever it was filled the air when a fellow who was drunk got into the bus. It was DISGUSTING!!! For the next two and a half hours, I had to undergo the torture and finally end up with a head ache since that fellow sat right behind my seat! πŸ™ Why do these people want to subject others to torture like this just because they wanted to have fun and got drunk? Add to it the Govt. is helping these drunkards by opening TASMAC shops at every other corner in all parts of the state and do I have to even say anything about the place where the drunkard got into the bus!

Talking about situations that cause instant headache to me, one more is when I am forced to sit next to someone who has just come back from smoking and talk with him/her. The mixed smell of cigarette and mouth freshener or whatever it is that they keep chewing leaves me disgusted. I hope I am not put into situations like this anymore!

Hmm… true. Government buses, Pondicherry, what more would you expect anyway? And yes, the TASMAC is one sight I detest. Smoking too – wonder how people can be such educated fools!

πŸ™ unfortunately we do not have any such rules or regulations atm.. even if there is some, no one is concerned about putting them on live..

but what we need is the sense and courage to act and react on the spot πŸ™‚

if the quality of alcohol sold at TASMAC improves, this wont happen. Even if a guy drinks 1 ltr of JD whiskey, he wont smell like this. But one small glass of monitor whiskey and this happens!!!

It all depends on what you want to take, as ranjith pointed out – Smell of Deo or Perfumes also create headache… Infact Rahman’s music is a headache for some one (like one of my old relative – whom i dont care coz of this) … It all depends on what you hate. An uncomfortable feel mostly converts to an headache in you or irritation and spoiling the mood !!

btw: he is not riding a bike or driving .. and if it was a real irritation – you could go for a public nuisance case

its not only the headache..its also the stress.. one feels so disgusted throughout the travel and you just cant do anything about it….i have had such company who sit right next seat keep falling at the shoulder every now and then, pick up a fight with the people around and all this on a overnight journey..and they wont even be in a position to listen or understand whatever we way..since you just cant do anything about it we just get worked up…also add “stress guaranteed”.. πŸ™

you can always ask the conductor to make him sit elsewhere or ask the conductor to give you a seat elsewhere … cos as much as pondy encourages liquor trade they are as much strict about the way drunkyards behave …

you are stereotyping pondy, its just that the place has got half a dozen liquor shops in every street but i have never seen drunkards working around the place, they are rare …

pondy is one of the closest place from chennai to unwind … its like our very own goa … the beaches, the people, the continental food, the night walks
there are a lot of boat club kinda streets clean and descent for late night walks …

I didn’t stereotype Pondy. All I meant to say Pondy is the place that will be like a heaven for drunkards πŸ˜‰ I never said there are drunkards roaming all around Pondy
Well, I would have been surprised if you had not supported Pondy πŸ˜› I like the place too
