As many of you might know, ‘Anything for Madhavan’ is a contest organized by SS Music on winning which you will get to have dinner with Madhavan. I have not watched any of the similar contests telecast on the channel and have no clue about what the contestants have to do.
On seeing the name Madhavan, I sent an SMS to participate in the contest since I was 100% sure that I will anyway not get selected since me getting selected for anything by sending SMS/phone calls has never happened before. 🙂 But day before yesterday, I got a call from S S Music saying that I have got selected and I have to be present at Abirami Mega Mall on Sunday. The person who called me wanted to know what I do. When I told him that I work, his next question was whether I am married or not. Now, in what way is my being married or single, related to meeting Madhavan?! He then told me that I have to sing some song or say a few dialogues from any of his movies and that it will be similar to the earlier contests and the rounds will be simple too. I told him that I am not participating. Who wants to get bulbed on camera which will later be watched by everyone you know and don’t know! 😉 Besides, I have never been interested in participating in any contests like this one (even if it involves meeting Madhavan 😉 ) and don’t even have hopes of winning it. But, he told me that I can still ask any of my friends to participate instead of me. My sister too had sent an SMS just for the heck of it and seems she had got selected too. But, both of us are not participating.
The way that person tried to convince us to participate and said that even if we are not participating, we can ask someone else to, made me wonder whether they had not received enough SMSs. 😉 And I thought there were so many girls going crazy over Madhavan and dreaming of meeting him. 😛

I remember madhavan telling that he has one formula for selecting the movies to act.. I want to know what is that formula. why did he choose to act in the movie aarya? yaaravathu kettu sollugalean.

i mean already ss music is popular and i just dont get the reason behind these shows..
i have seen once ” Anything for namitha ” and let me tell you ,the show sucked..
all the guys were looking like little dogs doing something really funny for her…
and even if u get selected for a dinner with some celebrety .he isn’t doing it with heart its just an obligation he ought to do.
I would anything not to be in show like that where u are on the screen and thousands of viewers watching me goin crazy like a clown..

There is nothing much to say. The first time was at Essen Musicals at Alwarpet where he had come along with Simran and Keerthana for the launch or rather promoting the CD/Cassettes of Kannatthil Muthamittal.
The second time was at the DVD launch of Mani Ratnam’s movies by Mani himself where Madhavan spoke about his experience of working with Mani Ratnam.

In a recent interview on Sun TV, Madhavan said that when he suggested a few changes to the script or something, the director immediately agreed to it. He said that was the reason why he chose to act in the movie. I seriously wonder what changes Madhavan could have told him since the movie anyway seems to have not got good reviews 😉
