Aayitha Ezhuthu VCD

I got the VCD of Aayitha Ezhuthu (seems DVD has still not been released) released by Moser Baer today. Neither the picture quality nor the sound quality is that good. πŸ™ So, don’t buy it unless you very badly want to watch the movie.

I got my AE dvd shipped through Ayngaran…. Its brilliant …

Sad that Moser Baer is compromising quality for price! Anyways I prefer original and neatly packaged DVDs like for example 2-dvd pack of the movie “Swades” released by UTV was one of the best dvd releases in India quality wise!

    Sriram,
I think I will also get the Ayngaran DVD then. Wonder why they don’t release it in India….
I too prefer only the original. But, when it’s not officially released, we have no other option….Yeah the Swades DVD was too good! Btw, some of the cut scenes in Swades were nice too πŸ™‚

Wait πŸ™‚ in another another an year r so.. this DVD funda will go away.. πŸ™‚ u may get a partial un-distributatl digital rights. its just comming up in a big way .. @lready iTunes kind of stores implemenetd that to an extend and netflix kind of online video lib throwing some options. to reach other auidence with more matured cost/ rate u may take some time.

after that no more DVDs … do some space management.. we don;t have to just stack DVDs for a day + watching in a year. .:)

    Nitin,
    Welcome to my blog!

    @All,
Just because one VCD is not of good quality, there is no way we can conclude that Moser Baer sells not-so-good quality VCDs/DVDs.

Aparna – Thanks for the lead. I am yet to see Aauyutha Ezhuthu (saw Yuva – my bad), and was thinking of Moser Baer as an option. Do u have any better ideas?

Welcome to my blog. You can try to get Ayngaran DVDs as has been said in previous comments. Btw, Aayitha Ezhuthu is 1000 times better than Yuva.

AE is not only better than Yuva .. but also much better than Ameros Peros from which the concept was inspired …

Also go for DVDs or DVD rips for a mani movie … the sound engg is simply mindblowing .. check the titles of AE … and you should hear the traffic sound from left to right or VV as the titles disappear …

CD or CD Rips are always bad unless its a movie made 10 – 15 yrs before when Stereo was a technology and Cinemtography was restricted …

I think I am facing blogger’s block πŸ˜› Why don’t you suggest something for me to write on? Now don’t tell me the wedding song πŸ˜‰
All of a sudden many new visitors seem to be visiting or rather commenting in my blog. So, shouldn’t I be welcoming them? πŸ˜‰

    Hello,
A long time since anything on Carnatic music. Maybe, you could write something-say on some favourite Ragams(other than Sahana!) and so on!
