I can’t believe that it has been almost 10 years since the movie got released! The movie, as most of you might know, got released on April 14th, 2000. 10 long years and I still can’t have enough of it! 🙂 And I still can’t have enough of writing about it either. It would be highly unfair if I don’t celebrate my decade long passion for the movie that is so very special to me. Today, I leave you with one of my favourite stills from the movie. Mmm yummy!! I don’t recollect another movie of Mani’s in the romantic genre that crazed so many people!! You brought back memories of how I watched that movie bunking classes..Nice concept – “indha vaaram alaipayuthey vaaram” and nice change of pix at the top as well 🙂

I love this movie. The nostalgia I experience when I see this movie is astounding. Brilliant piece of art, that has a special place in my heart.
Hmm, Except for the songs (esp. Pachchai Niramey), I didnt dig this 🙁
Complete nostalgia ! I had (still have) this Alaipayuthey-Kandukondein CD which was listened to every single day travelling on the A/C bus from Andheri to Mahim!
btw Rahman completes 18 years of his film debut this year!
