   HI Aparna,

   I am a Carnatic music lover and just happened to browse through your blog while searching for SriVenugopla . Must say, you have an interesting blog here with lots of Carnatic Music….nice to read + Nalinakanti has also been one of my favourites !!

   I would take time and definately read more as the carnatic music–> film music connection also interests me and i want to understand more as i am also a student of Carnatic music 🙂

   Hey thanks for the warm welcome 🙂 Just a small query….. are you and some others here at your blog professional/trained Carnatic artists or is it a cultivated hobby by nature in Chennai?! Just curious to know, reason being I have been learning Violin now for some time and am extremely passionate about it…….really good to know that we have people to intentionally promote this great art form
