A good concert overall. I liked the entire bEgaDA piece and khamAs AlApanai the most.
Is this the Niroshta Thillana by TNS?

No it was Harikesanallur’s
Well, actually HMB has only a Krithi in Niroshta – Raja Raja Aradhithe. The Thillana is most likely the one by TNS, it has the word ‘Harikesha dasa’ in the Sahithyam though. Guess thats the one..nice Ragam, Dr N Ramanathan once wrote a detailed article in Sruti explaining how the Ragam name means ‘unotuching lips’ and the Arohanam Avarohanam can be sung without the lips touching and more interestingly HMB so penned down his entire Krithi in such a manner too..there is a YouTube video of Neyveli Santhanagopalan where he sings the TNS Thillana and remarks that this too can be sung in such a manner !
