A tag that interested me

I came across this tag in SK’s blog. For a change, a tag that had questions that interested me. Here goes the tag.

Q1. Are you happy/satisfied with your blog, with its content and look?
Yes about the look part of it. I like the theme of my blog so much that I don’t have the heart to part with it and give my blog a new look. 😛 As for the content, well, I wish I had more time so that I can write much better and write more.

Q2. Does your family know about your blog?
Yes.

Q3. Do you feel embarrassed to let your friends know about your blog or you just consider it as a private thing?
Nope. My blog has only the things that I discuss with friends. Besides, all my close friends already know about my passion for Carnatic, Rahman’s music and Mani Ratnam’s movies, which are the primary contents of my blog. But still, I wouldn’t tell everyone about my blog.

Q4. Did blogs cause positive changes in your thoughts?
Of course yes. It made me realize that I too can write pretty decently about music, movies, etc. And the very fact that there are quite a few people who are willing to read what I write makes me happy. At the end of the day, my blog is one of the things that make me feel good about. 🙂

Q5. Do you only open the blogs of those who comment on your blog or you love to go and discover more by yourself?
I love to discover more blogs on my own. I can spend hours together doing blog hopping.

Q6. What does visitors counter mean to you? Do you care about putting it in your blog?
The figures that tell me how many people actually visit my blog do make me happy. But nowadays, more than the hits, it is the number of regular readers that has become more important to me.

Q7. Did you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?
Yes! Considering all the bloggers’ photos I have seen till now, my imagination about how someone would look like has been completely wrong. 🙂

Q8. Do you think there is a real benefit for blogging?
Yes. You get to interact with so many people, share your thoughts with many and hear their views on those. Through blogs, you get to read about a wide range of topics and also get to see different perspectives. Also along the way, I have made some good friends too.

Q9. Do you think that bloggers’ society is isolated from real world or interacts with events?
Since bloggers blog about real world happenings, I don’t see the bloggers’ society being isolated from the real world in any way.

Q10. Does criticism annoy you or do you feel it’s a normal thing?
Any constructive criticism never annoys me.

Q11. Do you fear some political blogs and avoid them?
No.

Q12. Did you get shocked by the arrest of some bloggers?
No.

Q13. Did you think about what will happen to your blog after you die?
A thought like that has never occurred to me. All I think about my blog is what to write about next and how to make it more interesting to the readers. Who cares about what’s going to happen once I die!

Q14. What do you like to hear? What’s the song you might like to put a link to, in your blog?
Pacchai Nirame! I don’t think I need to elaborate on why I would like to put that song link here. 😉

As usual, I am not tagging anyone. You are most welcome to do the tag if it interests you.

    >> It is i guess … you just take things out of the real world to this one … but the reverse doesnt happen much – i mean its mostly one way with slight chances of things going back ..

But mentally – for us – it does changes our perspective …

Q7. Did you try to imagine your fellow bloggers and give them real pictures?
Yes! Considering all the bloggers’ photos I have seen till now, my imagination about how someone would look like has been completely wrong.

    >> 🙂 Agree !! … not seen yours but still expecting its completely wrong … Just like when a song releases you have a picturization in your mind .. if its a Mani movie you are taken aback or others you are let down !!

    Sreekrishnan,
That’s true. I am surprised to see the number of people who are not even aware of what a blog is!
    >Just like when a song releases you have a picturization in your mind ..
That was a good comparison 🙂

just stumbled onto your blog and boy am i glad! so happy to see so many blogging from the city I grew up in & love to death! btw, how abt taking the name back to ‘madras’?’chennai’ is silly&sounds like one of those miserly side dishes at saravana bavan! no i’ve not been in a coma for a decade to suddenly wake up to find a chennai instead of madras, its jus that its always been bothering me & some golts have been irritating me to no end recently & when i jus skimmed your piece on the bureacrats everythin jus boiled overt – how dare those bastards (along with the dmk/admk or whoever was robbing the ppl then) decide to change the name of my beloved city!
i hope the blogosphere keeps growing & beats the s**t out of those marxist mt road maniacs monopoly on news dissemination.
keep up the good work. & trust me you’ll find mani ratnem & a.r.rahman uttrly fake & hollow pretty soon & only the rajas (ilaya/thyaga) will reign forever –
