Anjali Apartments
No this post is not about any apartment. Anjali Apartments is the name of a show that comes in Hello FM everyday which features conversations between the Manager of Anjali Apartments, Madhavan, and others living in the apartment. If I am not mistaken, the dialogues in this show should supposedly make the listeners laugh! But, I seriously wonder who will laugh after hearing those dialogues! Sample this (not the exact words of course):
Some kid: Uncle, enga veetla yaarukkum enna pidikkala
Manager: Yaen appadi solra?
Some kid: Ennoda periya akkakku rendu thangai, ennoda innoru akkakku oru thangai aana enakku mattum thangaye illa!
Oh My God! You should realise how I must have felt after hearing it! That was the last time I listened to that program. It was a week back or so. Why can’t they come up with better content!

I can’t even see the joke in it.I don’t know why they air such shows.To irritate people?

Exactly to irritate them I guess. But this is the worst of some 5-6 conversations that I listened to in this show! Others atleast gave the hint that they are supposed to be ‘funny’ dialogues!

I thot radio guyz wud come up wit sth gud as a sub for film songs..guess they better off stickin wit the songs..

fav MR scene is from IRUVAR:PR is addressing a crowd..all of a sudden,ppl start noticin tat mohanlal is coming n the whole crowd goes to greet him…tat n the one @ PR’s house, where ML goes to greet the crowd from the top…
the songs of andhi mandhaarai…r they available online??

The youngest kid doesn’t know that she has got 2 akkaas, while her eldest akka doesn’t hav any! There are real chances of a new thangacchi & not a new akka. Actually, the youngest kid has to flaunt about it.
ps: The above is to really entice irritation & anger like the show itself!

Hey Appu,
Take it from a person whose only solace during the one hour commute to work is FM Radio. 8 radio channels of total CRAP. Wish RJ’s jus go on mute and play songs …. Try having the patience of Mokkai Mohan from Radio Mirchi and it’s pathetic duplicates in the name of Rock n roll annachi and Spiderkanth!!!!
Phbbttt … Not to mention the fact that Big FM doesnt play songs fully!

Hey I too listen to FM only when I am travelling to work. And yes, inspite of 9 FM stations being there, none of them are good.

hey,
I like that show. It is one of the few places where the dialogs are natural… unlike the movies or the soaps!
